"My husband had seen a demonstration and
presentation of PolySteel forms at a recent Rotary meeting by a local builder,
Cope., Inc., and was impressed with the numbers - but would it really make a
difference? After many hours of 'pencil pushing', and studying PolySteel versus
frame
|
|
construction, we made the decision to take the
risk and try PolySteel. Our building was the first commercial building to be
constructed from PolySteel in this area so we were anxious, yet cautious...
My first praise of PolySteel developed from the timing of completeness being so
rapid. We opened our doors to the public on January 12, 1993, and I know this
date would have been impossible with another type of construction.
I have been completely sold on PolySteel since the school was complete, and have
done my best to spread the word. It is easy to heat as well as cool and always
easy to control a 'comfort zone'. My husband and I hope to build a new home in
the next few years and there is not a doubt that our construction will be of
PolySteel."

"After looking for houses for 6 months, we
decided that the only way we could afford what we wanted was to build it
ourselves. To this end we took a class taught by Marly and Bob Hunton. It was
from this class that I heard about PolySteel construction. At first I didn't
understand the concept, but
|
|
after looking at a couple that were under
construction and understanding what the concept was, we decided that is was
worth investigating.
The lot we purchased was a difficult one to design for: sloped and on the back
of a flag lot. PolySteel appeared to offer some economies for the basement,
which was not that much more than using traditional concrete. The other
advantages of strength in the event of earthquake, quietness and energy
reduction caused us to consider doing the entire house with PolySteel...we are
hoping to move-in in November and
should be able to start enjoying the energy savings immediately."

"Although we designed the house with
conventional framing in mind, we converted instantly to PolySteel the moment the
option was presented. The product ought to sell itself; it is just so LOGICAL,
particularly in this hurricane-susceptible locale."

It's hard to describe
in words, but there is a feeling of coziness,
peacefulness and a serene feeling we have with living in
this home."

"As we began to show
this home, one thing became clear. Even though this
house looked like ordinary construction, it had a solid
quietness that we call a 'sanctuary environment'. This
one aspect of PolySteel has sold more projects than even
the energy savings.
We sincerely THANK YOU for giving us a
product that is good not only
for the builder but also for the home owner."

"When our family is in
our new PolySteel home, we feel safe. Safe from storms,
earthquakes, all dangers. To be surrounded by 10-inch
thick exterior walls gives you a feeling of security. To
build a home of this construction gives new meaning to
the phrase 'your home is your castle' because, just as
in

centuries gone by, when castles were built and
can still be seen, I am POSITIVE this home will still be standing for many, many
years to come. This our contribution to posterity."
